Join industry leaders as they cover topics such as the business case for transparency, due diligence for customs compliance, supplier engagement strategies, and emerging supply chain technologies.

Policy News

EUDR Implementation Updates

As we fast approach the EUDR enforcement date, December 30, we are still waiting on several implementation documents promised by the EU Commission. In the coming months we still expect to see the following implementation guidance from the Commission:

  • An updated version of the EUDR FAQs
  • Official Implementing Guidelines that are meant to further clarify dedicated parts of the legislative text
  • Country benchmarking, which will classify countries in a low, medium, or high risk of deforestation is still being produced (likely to be released in November)

The EU Deforestation Due Diligence Registry or Information System timeline remains unchanged - the system will be open and operational in December. Training sessions will be organized in October and registrations will be possible as of November.

CBP Releases Updated Entity List

On August 9, the Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force (FLETF) published 5 new entities in its Entity List. All 5 entities are related to critical raw materials, especially magnesium. → Continue reading
